Bandhani Artist
Basir revived his family bandhani tradition and convinced his father to return from the Gulf to join him. He not only values his work, but also encourages others to learn. After studying design, he established his brand Sabr.
He received the World Craft Council Seal of Excellence, and realized his dream of participating in the International Folk Art Market. Today he is a favorite in prestigious Crafts Council of India events.
